Kintsugi with Reiko Kaneko
7 Jul 2019
Join Useful/Beautiful artist Reiko Kaneko to learn the art of Kintsugi , the traditional Japanese method of repairing broken pottery with powdered gold.
After studying design at Central Saint Martins Reiko Kaneko was captivated by the history and technique used in the production of fine bone china, it wasn’t long before she had become entirely devoted to the medium.
During this workshop you will learn how to fuse ceramic fragments together with gold and create their own unique piece of reclaimed ceramic art to take home with you.
