UK singer songwriter John Bramwell is a man of many guises. In the 1980s he was front man of four-piece band The Ignition. In 1999, he formed I Am Kloot with bassist Peter Jobson and drummer Andy Hargreaves. The band’s first single and album Natural History in 2001 – were produced by Guy Garvey from Elbow. The band was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2010 for the album Sky at Night but split in 2016, with Bramwell concentrating on a solo career. John has been touring solo in the UK and Europe for the last two years.

His solo album Leave Alone the Empty Spaces was released in November 2017 with a new album The Light Fantastic due out later this year. Playing in Otley for the first time, this is a rare opportunity to see John and his acoustic set, one of the most talented UK musicians of his generation.

With accompaniment from Dave Fidler – virtuoso musician.
