Announcing IMOWI (Indian Music on Western Instruments)
We just got news that we got the funding from Arts Council so it's full steam ahead with this rather splendid Indian Summer school.

We are delighted that the classes will be led by Leeds based Jesse Bannister - amazing saxophone player and Indian Music expert.

The vocal workshops will be led by Anol Chatterjee

The sessions are open to any musician or vocalist who has an interest in Indian Music. The three days will be an opportunity to develop new ways of playing and practicing using age old Indian methods of practice.

This event is part of a bigger overall project to include performances, story telling and more workshops. Watch this space for more news on the IMOWI project...
