Ice Cube 2020
31 Jan 2020 - 23 Feb 2020
The Ice Cube, Yorkshire's coolest wintertime attraction returns to heart of Leeds city centre in Millennium Square for three weeks of icy fun!
Organised by Leeds City Council with support from media partners Radio Aire and celebrating its 20th year, the Ice Cube will be open from Friday 31 January until Sunday 23 February 2020.
The hugely-popular event will once again feature a fully covered real ice rink with a special transparent roof, allowing visitors to enjoy an outdoor skating experience whatever the weather!
In addition to the open air ice rink, there will be an array of winter themed attractions including the Ice Jet, the Glacier Run Simulator plus the 30m North Pole Star Flyer along with other rides for children of all ages.
Back by popular demand, the Penguin Club will run every Saturday and Sunday mornings, providing a chance for younger children to take their first steps on to the ice in a safe and fun environment with the assistance of the popular penguin skating aids.
Alongside general public ice skating, individual skating lessons with a qualified coach will be available every Saturday and Sunday mornings.
A special ‘first steps to skating’ tuition programme for Leeds schools children will also be available during term time for schools to book and a weekly dedicated accessible session every Thursday morning at 10am is available for wheelchair users and for other disabled persons who may prefer a more quieter and relaxed environment.
Plus, visitors will be able to enjoy tasty winter treats at the cosy Skate Escape café.
