Girl Gang Leeds Birthday Fest 2020

We're celebrating our 3rd birthday with our annual birthday fest, featuring bands, artists, poetry, spoken word and more!
Manchester based all-girl punk grunge band are "angry and honest" with grungey riffs, a heavy beat and an eclectic mix of clean and shrieking vocals.
Feminist punk band from Notts/Derby, Babe Punch are bringing their 'frenzied pop-punk' energy and grunge/punk influences.
BRIDGET HART (spoken word/poetry)
Bristol-based writer, intersectional feminist, podcaster and curator; Bridget’s poetry is a love-letter to survivor solidarity. Having performed with the likes of Petrol Girls, their "beautiful anger" will be a powerful show not to be missed.
"Two women, two Xs, one big sound" - Arxx are a Brighton-based garage rock gal-pal duo with a "knack for bruising riffs and deadpan lyrics" and a "no f***s spirit" (NME)
LUCINDA LIVINGSTONE (solo)
Vocalist and guitarist of lo-fi duo Cultdreams and bassist of Watford punks Nervus, Lucinda's solo work features open and honest lyricism, effects-heavy guitar and early shoegaze and riot grrl influence.
Non-binary dinopunk band babes from Bristol playing queer indie-punk influenced by the likes of Fresh and Martha.
SUNDAY PRACTISE (spoken word/poetry)
A selection of poets from the Sunday Practise will be performing their work live. The Sunday Practise is a live music and poetry night run by WOC, currently based at Sela Bar in Leeds.
CHLOE HAWES (solo)
Chloe is a Manchester-based singer/songwriter (originally from Essex) playing a blend of folk, rock and Americana music, get down early to catch her!
WILTED FLOWER (solo & poetry)
Nottingham-based musician and poet Michaela performs under Wilted Flower - writing about mental health, love, and loss.
Plus a selection of artist stallholders and live portraits by MollyPukes!
