A gentle comedy, set during the wave of strikes and student uprising that began in Paris, but quickly spread across the country in May 1968.

Milou enjoys a quiet life; he has always lived with his mother on their family estate in the South of France. Her unexpected death brings the entire family together over a weekend to settle their inheritance, and despite reports of riots coming in over the radio, they continue to bicker over indiscretions, and how to split their matriarch's possessions... until they realise that the country is grinding to a halt and even the gravediggers are on strike!
