Brought to you by the co-creator of the Don’t Look Now programme, FLIX is a month-long celebration of women in documentary film, exploring female-identifying documentary filmmakers and subjects through screenings, script mixers and Q&As.

All screenings are free entry, donations collected for Leeds Women’s Aid.

THE ARBOR (Clio Barnard, 2010)
Working from two years of audio interviews, Clio Barnard beautifully reconstructs the fascinating true story of troubled British playwright Andrea Dunbar and her tumultuous relationship with her daughter.

After the screening, we will be joined by Natalie Gavin for a Q&A, discussing her role in the documentary-drama and relationship with the subject matter.

The main entrance to access the bar and food area of Belgrave Music Hall, there are 6 steps up, alongside this is a side door that is step free access.
