Great innovation, disruption and creativity are the result of diversity. The Empowering Women with Tech conference will try to break down misconceptions about women in technology and encourage and empower more women to become tech creators.

Co-founder of award-winning social enterprise Anne-Marie will be discussing that the future is girl-led startups; the past, present and future of our society and the role women & girls in tech are playing.


Multi-award winning broadcaster with twenty years’ experience working in broadcasting and the music industry. Lauren will be discussing the launch of The Pool, a website for ‘women who are too busy to browse’.


Susanna Lau, (also known as Susie Bubble) is a British fashion blogger whose blog Style Bubble has become one of the most successful and widely recognised blogs of its type since it started in 2006. She’ll be discussing the journey of how Style Bubble was created.


Emmy is Vice President of Digital for Warner Music Group. She’ll be discussing her journey into the music industry and how digital is changing the music landscape now, and predictions for the future.


Founder, Love Home Swap and Co-Founder and Chair of AllBright. Debbie Wosskow OBE is recognised as one of the most prominent serial entrepreneurs in the UK, known for successfully launching and scaling businesses in the areas of digital disruption, the sharing economy and female empowerment.


Natasha is the Head of Technology for Digital Trading at Sky, working out of Sky’s new Leeds Dock campus. She is an award-winning digital digital geek and passionate about improving diversity in the creative/tech industries. Natasha is the curator of the Technology strand at the Leeds International Festival


Sue is an award-winning computer scientist, radical thinker, social entrepreneur and public speaker. Sue is well known for founding the high profile campaign to save Bletchley Park.

Sue is a passionate advocate for women in tech, this led to her founding BCSWomen, the UK’s first online network for women in tech, and #techmums, a social enterprise which empowers mums and their families through technology.
