Bo Burnham, an American comedian best known for his piano performances with unexpected lyrics (Lower your Expectations, Kill Yourself), admitted to had experienced numerous panic attacks throughout the years caused by his social anxiety. This, alongside unique experience of growing up in a digital age, found its expression in his debut film Eighth Grade.

The main heroine is Kayla (Elsie Fisher, Despicable Me), an angsty teenager in school – a confident vlogger online. Once the end of eighth grade is only one week away, Kayla decides it’s high time for a change.

Eighth Grade received strong praise from critics and was nominated for four Independent Spirit Awards. Fisher’s heartfelt performance got her a nomination for a Golden Globe for Best Actress.

Wheelchair Access

Level access is available to the stalls via the Brudenell Road fire exit. There are four wheelchair spaces in the auditorium. Sadly at this time our toilets are not accessible via wheelchair.
