EcoBricks, Film Screening and Movement Workshop
22 Sep 2019 10:45am
A creative dance and movement class and drop in Ecobricks craft session will be held, centred around the topic of recycling and caring for our environment. These family sessions encourage the young and old to come together and explore this prominent topic using art as a medium. For more information please visit the venue's website and see below.
10.45-12 noon Creative Dance Movement Class (suitable for all ages and family members from 0-90 yrs + and all abilities including complete beginners). Pre booking required.
As part of our quest to tackle plastic pollution, we ask that you bring a reusable water bottle with you and use our tap facilities to keep hydrated or use the cups provided. You can participate in bare feet or in trainers and make sure you're wearing something comfortable.
12.00-1.30pm Drop in Ecobricks Craft Session.
If you're attending the EcoBricks workshop then start saving your rubbish now!. We'll supply the bottles and sticks but ask that you bring a plastic bag of non biodegradable rubbish such as plastic bags, cellophane and food packaging along with you so we can show you how to compress all that household rubbish!
There will be refreshments and snacks sold throughout the morning and as a family friendly venue we also have a separate kitchen area where new mums are welcome to breastfeed if they'd like somewhere quiet and you are welcome to come and go throughout if your children need a break.
During this period of social distancing and lockdown due to Coronavirus we advise that you check directly with the organiser of this event that it is going ahead as publicised.
