Curve stitching is the perfect combination of art and maths using embroidery thread to create intriguing and beautiful geometric patterns in card.
Barbara Hepworth used the same metal technique with metal cord in some of her sculptures. Alison is inspired by school geometry and 1970's string art pictures of sailing boats or owls that were wound around nails on a black felt board.

In this two hour workshop Alison will guide you through some of the basic patterns and give instructions on how to move onto the more detailed designs, for greetings cards and pictures.
