Curiosity Boxes: Art at Home

Online Event
Child with their Curiosity Box
Dates and times

17 Nov 2020 - 3 Jan 2021

Online Event

An Art at Home activity which tasks younger children to get curious and collect objects to play and make sculptures with. You'll make a 'Curiosity Box', then go on a collecting mission to fill it with objects, then use your new collection to play, make and learn. This resource, designed by local artist Kerri Butterworth, is inspired by our current exhibition, Paloma Varga Weisz: Bumped Body, and the collecting practices of our founder Henry Moore.

Click here to find out more and download our free resource with step by step instructions. This activity is designed for children aged 2 - 8 years, with support from an adult.

We'd love to see what you make, so please share your creations with us on our social media channels via the links on the left of the screen.
