Jo Brandon will be reading from her second full-length collection published by Valley Press, Cures, which explores all the misguided and hopeful ways in which we search for cures. Her other publications include The Learned Goose and Phobia. Her writing has appeared widely in magazines and anthologies and she was Bradford Literature Festival’s first Digital Poet in Residence.
The event will also feature an open-mic section of 15 three-minute slots that can be booked on a first come, first served basis by emailing matthew.stoppard@leeds.gov.uk. There will be a back-up list of replacement readers for those who have to cancel at short notice.
