Clay Experience Course

Our popular three-session course gives you a fantastic introduction to creating with clay!
On the course you will have one full session of wheel throwing and one session learning a range of hand building techniques. When your pottery has been bisque fired, you return for your decorate and glaze your work, so you complete everstage of the process all the way from clay to finished ceramics!
We have a maximum of just 8 places on each course, split into two groups of four each with a dedicated tutor. This means you get unparralleled levels of support for our fun and friendly team. Firefly tutors are all trained artists, with extensive experience in ceramics and visual arts.
This is an entry level course for adult learners looking for an introduction to clay, or those getting back into pottery.
Session 1: 18th June 7-10pm
Session 2: 25th June 7-10pm
Your pots will take approximatley 3-5 weeks to dry and fire.
You book the third session at a time to suit you, to come back and decorate and glaze! You can experiment with underglaze techniques and a range of crystal and artisan glazes.

Deposits are non transferable and non refundable. If an event is cancelled by Firefly Pottery you will be refunded in full.
