14 Aug 2015 - 16 Aug 2015
Spread across three days and nights, City Of Industry will feature a number of free and ticketed events and parties, as Northern Monk launch Chapter Hall, their new event space.
A group of the most progressive and exciting breweries in the world have come together to take over the bars at City Of Industry. Northern Monk, Cloudwater Brew Co, Edge Brewing and New Zealand's Yeastie Boys will all be bringing a vast selection of beautiful beers. Portobello Road Gin will be bringing their unrivalled expertise and their bar to quench your thirst while rising Leeds institutions Patty Smiths, Doughboys, Bundobust, Grub & Grog will all be selling food across the weekend.
The opening party will take place on Friday 14th August and feature sets from DJ Format, Fingathing, Get Machine, Destroy! & Special Guest DJ's. The party will also see the launch of a new exhibition of artwork curated by Drew Millward and Colours May Vary, which hang in the Chapter Hall over the weekend and then return to Colours May Vary where it will be exhibited until Sept 30th. A selection of works will remain on view in The Refectory until 1st Sept.
Saturday will be an all day party, taking place outside the Northern Monk Refectory. The outdoor stage will be curated by High & Lonesome Festival and Hide & Seek Records with Saturday ending with guest DJ's and a huge party in Chapter Hall.
Sunday will be a more relaxed affair with film showings in Chapter Hall and food and drink available outside. Hide & Seek Records will be taking over a barge and hosting a special intimate show on the Leeds/Liverpool canal. Tickets on sale now!

Russell Bisset, Northern Monk:
"The community element of Northern Monk is a key part of our identity. City of Industry is a true celebration of this, inviting new industry into the heart of the old. The event brings together the best local independent businesses as well as a curated selection of musicians and artists from former industrial hubs across the UK all accompanied by beer from some of the best new breweries in the world. This is a three day showcase of the evolution of music, street food, beer, art and culture."
During this period of social distancing and lockdown due to Coronavirus we advise that you check directly with the organiser of this event that it is going ahead as publicised.
