‘If music be the food of love, play on’

It is well known that music and food are good for health and wellbeing; creatively, learning and meeting people can give us inspiration and a new boost to life.

Come and build a ukulele, learn to play ukulele, meet new people, and have food and fun on this ten week course in Drawing Room, Leeds Central Library. On this course you will learn how to build and decorate your own bespoke Ukulele to keep and treasure. You will also learn how to play in a fun and practical way. You will be amazed at how quickly you can learn a few techniques. You will learn chords, strumming patterns, melody playing, with a variety of songs in a social and welcoming environment. You will be given a Music library Ukulele on loan for the ten weeks to take home and practice.

Vegetarian Lunch will be provided along with hot drinks.

What a perfect way to start the New Year and beat those winter blues.
