Check out our Basic Woodwork course starting in November. The course if for complete beginners and those looking for a refresher. You will learn:

• Safe use of common hand tools

• How to measure wood for a project

• Simple joints and fixings 

The course is taught by a time-served carpenter and you will complete:

• A bird box

• A simple garden bench

• Maybe a simple small project of your choice

There will be a small charge of £5.00 for materials.

Join us on Friday mornings from 0930-1530 for 4 weeks. This course is FREE if you're on benefits or earning less than £15,736.50 per year (annual gross salary). 

We are a Conservation charity with the aim of connecting people with green spaces for their wellbeing. We are based in Kirkstall and have a big, beautiful garden and cafe with yummy food.

This course is FREE if you're on benefits or earning less than £15,736.50 per year (annual gross salary). It is discounted if you are retired. Otherwise, the 20 hour course costs £60.
