This Photography exhibition is the first in our Print-It series, intended to showcase fantastic works from local, regional, national and international artists. At Aire Place Studios we hope to reflect the creativity and diversity of artists, as well as providing an important opportunity for artists to exhibit their work to the public. Our intention is to broaden the public perception of art.

Exhibiting is not always accessible to everyone. From printing costs, framing, transport and exhibition room hire, it all adds up!  We wanted to remove some of these barriers by inviting artists to submit their artwork for us to print, frame, and hang in our gallery space, as well as display in an online exhibition!

COVID-19 has added a huge extra barrier to exhibiting artists; we wanted to create an exhibition that could work around these barriers by having all of the interaction with the artists be digital, and cutting out the need for artists to bring physical pieces of work to the studio – which opened up the opportunity to artists who may not be local to us.

This third lockdown has meant we have had to postpone the physical exhibition until it is safe for us at Aire Place Studios to hang it and for the public to view it, but we are still holding a digital exhibition of the brilliant work we received on our website and across our social media!
