David Oluwale 50th

David Oluwale 50th

David Oluwale was a British-Nigerian who migrated to England in 1949. Most of his difficult adult life was spent in Leeds. David's story reminds us of the intersection of racism, mental-ill health, homelessness, destitution and police malpractice.

The Remember Oluwale charity helps to build Leeds as a city of inclusion and hospitality, where everyone is welcome and cared for, whatever their colour or social status.

These events commemorating the 50th anniversary of David's death will inspire that hopeful campaign.
