For 18 days, Leeds was treated to everything from edible art exhibitions to dine-along film screenings, with wine tastings, street food festivals, cookery workshops and tasting menus thrown in too, all in restaurants, cafes, bars and shops all over the city. This time around we are keen to get even more independents involved and to spread the word far and wide. Event submissions are now open, so if you think your favourite coffee shop or burger joint should be part of the action then email us here at firstname.lastname@example.org

The best way to experience the festival is through a Festival Passport, and all the venues involved will be offering benefits. This year, Passport Holders were treated to 25% off food at Bundobust, 10% off drinks at North Bar, bottomless filter coffee at Mrs Atha’s and a unique off-menu burger at Patty Smith’s, plus discounts, deals, free food and priority tickets from over 70 other businesses. The #LIF16 Festival Passports are on sale now.
The Leeds Indie Food team are also looking for sponsors and partners for the 2016 festival. The 2015 edition saw up to 15,000 people attend events throughout the city, with an engaged following on social media and enthusiastic support from Leeds’ vibrant independent food, drink, art and retail scene. Sponsor packs are now available. Just email email@example.com
for more information.
