Taking over the city centre of Leeds on the 10 & 11 October, Light Night 2019 celebrates the theme of Mind, Body and Spirit with a fascinating interactive programme, exploring the ethereal landscapes of our dreams.
This flagship event in the city’s cultural calendar celebrates the range of diverse and thriving creative activity taking place in Leeds, giving local people and visitors to the city free access to art illumination and cultural excellence. Light Night 2019 will showcase the work of local, national and international artists across a range of art forms including video mapping, light installations and street theatre. 73 activities will be presented across 11 zones in the city centre, attracting in excess of 85,000 visitors.
Do you fancy getting first-hand experience with a behind the scenes glimpse of this large scale multi-arts festival? There’s still time to join the volunteering team, our deadline is the 25 September. The opportunity is open to all aged18+.
