Come and join the motley crew as Thwaite Island is taken over by pirates for the day.
Use your treasure hunting skills, take to the high seas - otherwise known as a canal on board a narrow pirate boat, there will be lots of other fun activities; archery, bouncy castle, face painting, stalls, walking the plank and craft activities.
Don't forget pirate dress is encouraged but not compulsory with a prize for the best dressed pirate and piratess- judging taking place at 1.30pm.
Parents will enjoy exploring the beautiful location, as Thwaite is packed with greenery and wildlife.
FREE with admission to the museum. No booking required.
Last admission: 3.30pm.
