Olympic Torch at Headingley Stadium

Families looking forward to watching the Olympic Torch Relay are warmly invited to Headingley Carnegie Stadium where the torch will be travelling through and changing torch-bearer hands.

The Torch Relay is expected to arrive at the stadium, home to Leeds Rhinos, Leeds Carnegie and Yorkshire County Cricket Club at 17.52.

The arrival of the torch will come shortly after the end of the Leeds Rhinos v Castleford Tigers game (kick off 3pm) with many families expected to make a full day of it, enjoying some top class rugby; great entertainment with music, dancing and child focused activities; followed by the awe-inspiring sight of the Olympic Torch.

Headingley Carnegie Stadium are looking forward to extending a special welcome to families who’ve never been to the ground before.
