Hainsworth Street, Pudsey, Leeds, LS28 5TZ

This year's festival will be full of exciting entertainers, performers and activities suitable for all ages. We have two music areas, featuring the likes of  Biscuit Head and the Biscuit Badgers, Phoenix Concert Band, Bssa Bassa and Punjabi Roots as well as Walkabout Performers, theatre and storytelling, Wonky Olympics, Breeze Inflatables, Graffiti artists, circus acts and more, not forgetting a large free play area which was a huge hit last year. Feeling peckish, we have a selection of food stalls or bring a picnic (and something to sit on). Our ethos has always been to create a day where you can arrive and not have to spend a penny – unless of course you want to.

Look out for this year’s community project, play flags. The local residents, businesses and organisations have been decorating fabric with pictures and words depicting play. From schools and community groups, to visitors at the Farmers market through to crafternoons, everyone has been invited to create a flag to form part of the installation which will be on display at the festival.

There is still time to get involved if you want to be part of Farsley’s biggest annual event. Visit to find out more.
