Winner of awards on both sides of the Atlantic, Cats has become one of the world’s best known and best loved musicals. Adapted from TS Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, this ground-breaking musical brings you a sparkling fusion of music, dance and drama like no other. It tells the story of one mystical night when an extraordinary tribe of cats gathers for their annual Jellicle Ball, to decide which one of them will be chosen to go up to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn.
Leeds Amateur Operatic Society (LAOS) present an all new staging of this Andrew LLoyd Webber’s classic. With breathtaking choreography and an amazing score that includes one of the most unforgettable songs in musical theatre – Memory – Cats is a magical and unmissable show for all the family.
