The Headrow, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 3AD

A night of ‘royal’ celebrations as amazing costumes - hugely elaborate, phenomenally colourful creations - compete for the prestigious Carnival King and Queen titles and the honour of leading Bank Holiday Monday’s Carnival Parade. With costumes closely guarded secrets until they hit the stage, lyrical wit from the City’s first ever male and female Calypso Monarchs, Lord Silky and Soca B, plus one of the North’s most energetic performance groups RJC Dance Theatre – this is definitely a night to remember.
